Annecy

sold out!

Annecy is a dazzling and authentically antique Edwardian era (circa 1910) platinum and diamond engagement ring. This one-of-a-kind ring features a remarkable 3.30ct diamond accompanied by a GIA Diamond Report stating the Old European Cut diamond is graded N color and VS2 clarity. The surprisingly bright diamond is accented by an additional sixty Old European and Single Cut diamonds totaling approximately 1.45ct, graded F-G color and VS clarity. Annecy showcases the beautiful artistry of Edwardian era jewelers with linear open metal work along the shoulders and a decadent arch matching open metalwork with a floral flair for a delectably lacy look. The ring is finished with beautiful milgrained edges and hand engraving along the bottom of the platinum shank. This Edwardian ring is a dream come true!

Annecy is currently a size 7 and can be sized to fit some ring sizes. Please contact our concierge with sizing questions.

HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces. Delicate settings with lots of diamonds were especially popular during this time, though we also see a number of different colored stones, including sapphires, aquamarines, and rare electric green demantoid garnets.
