Star Springs is a charming two-tone diamond ring spanning two time periods. The platinum and diamond top began its life as an Art Deco era stick pin and features a bezel set 0.50ct Old European Cut diamond graded H-I color and VS clarity. The center diamond is further decorated by a halo of eight well-matched Old Mine and Old European Cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.25ctw set in an eight-pointed star motif. The 14k yellow gold mounting was designed a few decades later in the 1940s adding a little height to the profile and a lovely buckle detail on the shoulders. Star Springs is a lovely example of conversion jewelry, much-coveted by us antique jewelry lovers! The ring is finished with a slightly tapering slim 14k yellow gold band, and light millegrained platinum edges.
Star Springs is currently a size 7.25 and can be sized to fit. Please contact our concierge with sizing questions.
