Fifth Ave is a bold and authentic Mid Century (circa 1950) platinum and diamond ring. This show-stopping ring showcases a glittering center diamond accompanied by a GIA certificate stating the 3.56ct Rectangular Step-Cut diamond is graded G color and VS2 clarity. The center diamond is flanked on either side by ten French Cut diamonds lining the shoulders and totaling approximately 0.40ct in weight — a perfect compliment to the beautiful center diamond. The rare and one-of-kind French Cut accent diamonds make this ring an incredibly special statement piece and a true favorite at T&H. It is currently a size 6.75 and can be sized to fit most ring sizes. Please contact our concierge with any questions.
As economic growth expanded the upper middle class in the 1950s, jewelry reflected this new prosperity with flashy, dramatic designs and a focus on diamond stones. The basic designs were quite similar to the Retro period, but were executed differently, often featuring textured accents and engraved finishes.
