Harper's Ferry

sold out!

Harper's Ferry is a whimsical and authentic Late Mid-Century (circa 1960) 14k yellow gold ring reminiscent of the romantic creations of the Edwardian era. The ring is designed as a scrolling motif of three Old Mine Cut diamonds and eight Single Cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.50ct in weight, ranging in color between H-K and VS/SI in clarity. Harper's Ferry's diamond most likely started out in an older piece of jewelry and repurposed during the 1960's to make this  unique Mid-Century ring. The 14k yellow gold ring has a soft, almost cream yellow glow and the milgrained detailing perfects this fabulous piece of repurposed history!

The ring is currently a size 7.75 and can be sized to fit. Please contact our concierge with questions!

HISTORY
As economic growth expanded the upper middle class in the 1950s, jewelry reflected this new prosperity with flashy, dramatic designs and a focus on diamond stones. The basic designs were quite similar to the Retro period, but were executed differently, often featuring textured accents and engraved finishes.
