Washington is a wonderful and authentic Edwardian era (circa 1920) navette shape ring made from 18k white gold centering two eight-prong set EGL Certified diamonds. The first diamond is a 0.51ct Round Brilliant Cut diamond graded G color and VS2 clarity and the second is a 0.50ct Round Brilliant Cut diamond graded H color and VS2 clarity. Two brilliant matching diamonds sit one on top of the other in this long and graceful filigree ring. Washington is currently a size 6.5 and can be sized to fit most ring sizes. Please contact our concierge with sizing questions. *Please note, these two diamonds are not original to the setting since they were cut in the modern era. Most likely this ring had Old European Cut diamonds in the center.

HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces.
