$31,000.00 $34,500.00

Aventine is an exquisite Edwardian era antique Moval diamond engagement ring. This one-of-a-kind platinum and diamond ring features a stunning Moval (marquise / oval) diamond that has been graded in the setting as F-G color and VS1 clarity stone weighing approximately 2.50ct. Aventine is further decorated by a delicately segmented halo of 22 mixed old cut diamonds graded F-G color, VS-SI clarity and totaling approximately 0.50ctw. This incredible ring is finished with pretty open metal work clean, millegrained edges throughout. Aventine has been dubbed "one of the finest rings we've EVER had" by our beloved gemologist & founder Jerry, and the rest of us heartily agree!

Aventine is currently a size 7.25 and can be sized to fit most ring sizes. Please contact our concierge with sizing questions.

*Please note the diamond could not be taken out of the original setting so it was graded in the mounting.

HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces. Delicate settings with lots of diamonds were especially popular during this time, though we also see a number of different colored stones, including sapphires, aquamarines, and rare electric green demantoid garnets.
