Dolis is a classic and authentic vintage Art Nouveau era (circa 1910) pearl and diamond cluster ring. The lovely platinum-topped ring centers a round white pearl measuring 5mm and is surrounded by a halo of six Single Cut diamonds. Four additional Single Cut diamonds dot the shoulders and with the halo have a combined approximate weight of 0.30ct. Dolis is finished with a slim, tapering 18k yellow gold shank and has a low profile. This flower ring is a sweet example of romantic and nature-inspired jewelry of the Art Nouveau period!

HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces. Delicate settings with lots of diamonds were especially popular during this time, though we also see a number of different colored stones, including sapphires, aquamarines, and rare electric green demantoid garnets.
