HISTORY
As economic growth expanded the upper middle class in the 1950s, jewelry reflected this new prosperity with flashy, dramatic designs and a focus on diamond stones. The basic designs were quite similar to the Retro period, but were executed differently, often featuring textured accents and engraved finishes.
