Excelsior Bay is a magnificent and authentic Edwardian era (circa 1910) platinum topped 18k yellow gold engagement ring centering a fabulous prong-set diamond. The diamond is accompanied by a report from the acclaimed GIA Gem Lab stating the 3.03ct Oval Brilliant Cut diamond is graded L color and SI2 clarity. The center diamond is nestled in a prong setting delightfully detailed along the tapering shoulders with fabulous handcrafted beadwork. This solitaire sensation is the perfect vintage ring! The mixed metal combined with a classic Oval Cut diamond makes this ring one of our favorites!

HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured.
