Scofflaw is a magnificent and authentic Edwardian era (circa 1915) platinum and fancy yellow diamond engagement ring. The bombe style antique ring showcases an incredibly rare and beautiful diamond accompanied by a GIA Colored Diamond Grading Report stating the 1.61cts diamond is Fancy Yellow in color with even distribution and SI1 in clarity. Scofflaw is further enhanced by an additional twenty-six Single Cut diamonds set throughout the tapering gallery and shoulders totaling approximately 0.45ct in combined weight. The ring is finished with a subtle touch of milgraining along the platinum edges which highlights the beautiful contrast between the sunny center diamond and the white accent diamonds.

HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces. Delicate settings with lots of diamonds were especially popular during this time, though we also see a number of different colored stones, including sapphires, aquamarines, and rare electric green demantoid garnets.
