Winterslow is a magnificent and authentic Edwardian era (circa 1915) platinum, sapphire and diamond three-stone engagement ring. This incredible ring features three GIA certified gemstones and centers an Oval Brilliant Cut natural sapphire weighing 1.50ct with Cambodian origin and no evidence of heat treatment to the stone. The center sapphire is flanked on either side by a pair of Old Mine Brilliant Cut diamonds; one with a weight of 1.15ct graded K color and VS1 clarity and the other with a weight of 1.14ct graded K color and VS1 clarity. Winterslow is an impeccable example of the beautiful craftsmanship of the Edwardian era. Over 100 years after its creation, Winterslow's timeless beauty is still desirable today.

HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces. Delicate settings with lots of diamonds were especially popular during this time, though we also see a number of different colored stones, including sapphires, aquamarines, and rare electric green demantoid garnets.
