Hatherly

sold out!

Hatherly is a charming and authentic antique Late Art Deco (circa 1935) platinum topped 18k rose gold engagement ring featuring a fabulous emerald and diamond combination. The ring centers a Square Step-Cut natural emerald bezel set in platinum weighing approximately 1.00ct in weight. A cushion-shaped halo of twelve Old Mine Cut diamonds (most likely older stones repurposed in this ring), totaling approximately 0.85ct in weight, add a touch of sparkle to the emerald center stone. A scalloped border of platinum hugs each accent diamond gracefully, giving Hatherly a soft and romantic touch. The ring is finished with a wide 18k rose gold hand engraved shank about 4.5mm in width at the top of the ring to about 3.36mm in width at the base of the shank.

The ring is currently a size 7.75 and can be sized to fit.

HISTORY
The most characteristic feature of Art Deco jewelry is the emphasis on bold, geometric designs. The “Roaring 20’s” ushered in a new desire to live life to the fullest, which was very much reflected in the era’s jewelry designs.
