Kentshire Way

sold out!

Kentshire Way is a spectacular diamond and natural emerald Art Deco engagement ring circa 1935. The platinum ring features a magnificent GIA certified 4.97ct Columbian emerald measuring 11.38 x 9.22 x 6.60 mm. The beautiful center stone is set horizontally within 4-prongs. Often inspired by the architecture of fine buildings, jewelers found design ideas in those details and brought them to life in glamorous jewelry pieces. This show-stopping ring is adorned with a menagerie of diamond cuts weighing 1.34ct total weight. The three shapes of diamonds work together to create a deliberately Art Deco motif for each shoulder that look remarkably like the silhouette for a Broadway Theater marquee. Perhaps this ring was a custom design especially for that purpose. It's a great cocktail ring and a huge favorite here at T&H!

The ring is currently a size 6.5 and can be sized to fit. Please contact us with questions regarding this piece.

HISTORY
The most characteristic feature of Art Deco jewelry is the emphasis on bold, geometric designs. The “Roaring 20’s” ushered in a new desire to live life to the fullest, which was very much reflected in the era’s jewelry designs.
