Great Plains

sold out!

Great Plains is a charming retro era ring that dates to the early 1940's. This 18k white gold ring is set with a 0.60ct Old European Cut diamond with an estimated grade of H-I color and VS2 clarity. The brilliant high color center stone is set inside four "corner-style" prongs designed to achieve the illusion that the diamond is a square shape. This was a very popular and stylish design feature of the Art Deco era that carried through to the mid-century era. The ring is further accented by 2 single cut diamonds horizontally set on each side within raised channels adding an additional 0.04 total carat diamond weight to the piece. Evidence of the finished decorative details including milgrained edges and delicate engraving on the shank can still be seen over the ring.

This great post-war ring is currently a size 6 and can be sized to fit. Please contact our concierge with questions!
