Felix

sold out!
Felix is a sweet and whimsical Art Nouveau (circa 1900) 14k rose gold ring that originally started out life as part of an antique brooch. This fun ring displays the bust of a fox, detailed with two Round ruby eyes totaling approximately 0.05ct in weight. The ring is finished with a simple 14k rose gold shank that was added by Trumpet & Horn. Felix is currently a size 6.25 and can be sized to fit. In contrast to the concurrent Edwardian period, jewelry from the Art Nouveau period was an artistic revolt against the technological advances of the industrial age, instead focusing heavily on handcrafting and creative design. In this jewelry, unusual gemstones like opal, agate, and moonstone were popular, and diamonds were more often used as subtle accents.
