Baycrest is a truly splendid authentic Edwardian era (circa 1910) platinum-topped 18k yellow gold ring centering a diagonal, bezel set square Step-Cut sapphire gauged at 0.66ct accompanied with a Guild Laboratories certificate stating the Ceylon sapphire has not been heat treated.The ring is further surrounded by a diamond shaped halo of twelve Single Cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.50ct and finished with exemplary scalloped edges surrounding each diamond. Baycrest is currently a size 5.5 and can be sized to fit.

HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces.
