Beddingham is a lovely authentic Victorian era (circa 1880) 18k yellow and white gold antique diamond engagement ring featuring a fabulous three-stone combination of stones. This unique antique engagement ring centers a 0.84ct EGL certified Old Mine Brilliant Cushion Cut diamond graded H color and SI2 clarity. The hand-cut center stone is flanked on either side by one Old Mine Cut and one Single Cut diamond, totaling approximately 0.20ct. Beddingham is finished with beautiful oxidization to the metal adding to the antique finish on this beautiful, bombe style ring with a bold shank.

The ring is currently a size 6 and can be sized to fit.

HISTORY
Much of the popular Victorian jewelry was inspired by Queen Victoria’s style. For example, birthstones were popular in engagement rings because Victoria wore hers with an emerald. The Victorian era is further divided into Early (1837–1860), Mid (1860–1885), and Late (1890–1901) periods, reflecting changes in Victoria’s life and personal style. Early and late Victorian period jewelry is often described as having a romantic look, but mid-Victorian style is darker and more sentimental, reflecting Victoria’s personal period of mourning after the loss of her husband and mother.
