Carnegie Hall is a spectacular and authentic Victorian era (circa 1895) 18k yellow gold halo style ring. This gorgeous vintage engagement ring centers a unique warm-toned 1.91ct GIA certified Round Brilliant Cut diamond graded Fancy Brown-Yellow in color and VS clarity (clarity was determined by our Graduate Gemologist, the GIA certificate does not state the clarity.) A graceful halo of fourteen Old Mine Cut diamonds delicately frame the center diamond, totaling approximately 0.50ct in weight. Carnegie Hall's golden center diamond creates the perfect contrast with the bright surrounding stones. The ring is currently a size 6 and can be sized to fit.

HISTORY
Much of the popular Victorian jewelry was inspired by Queen Victoria’s style. For example, birthstones were popular in engagement rings because Victoria wore hers with an emerald. The Victorian era is further divided into Early (1837–1860), Mid (1860–1885), and Late (1890–1901) periods, reflecting changes in Victoria’s life and personal style. Early and late Victorian period jewelry is often described as having a romantic look, but mid-Victorian style is darker and more sentimental, reflecting Victoria’s personal period of mourning after the loss of her husband and mother.
