Chrysler

$2,900.00 $3,700.00

Chrysler is an impeccably example of an authentic early Edwardian era (circa 1905) style diamond ring. The elongated lacy platinum ring centers a bezel set Old European Cut diamond gauged at approximately 0.20ct and graded F-G color and VS clarity. Chrysler is made even more unique by the crescent-shaped filigree, the laciness of the ring is a true work of art that epitomizes the delicate artistry of the Edwardian style! HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces. Delicate settings with lots of diamonds were especially popular during this time, though we also see a number of different colored stones, including sapphires, aquamarines, and rare electric green demantoid garnets.
