Ivy

sold out!

Ivy is a sweet and authentic Late Art Deco (circa 1935) 18k white gold ring designed by the New York jewelry house of Dattelbaum & Friedman (inside shank is stamped D&F). The ring centers a nicely saturated blue Rectangular Checkboard Cut aquamarine gauged at approximately 2.10ct. Please note, the center aqua was either recut into a more modern shape or is not original to the setting. Ivy is further accented by a lovely pattern of chevron shaped engraving and amazing scrolling metal work nestled along the pavilion of the center aquamarine. It is currently a size 7.5 and can be sized to fit.

HISTORY
The most characteristic feature of Art Deco jewelry is the emphasis on bold, geometric designs. The “Roaring 20’s” ushered in a new desire to live life to the fullest, which was very much reflected in the era’s jewelry designs.
