La Quinta is an incredible and authentic Edwardian era (circa 1915) platinum and diamond engagement ring featuring a stunning six-prong set diamond. The diamond is accompanied by a GIA Diamond Report stating the Old European Brilliant Cut diamond weighs 1.66ct and is graded J color and VS1 clarity. The ring is further adorned by an additional six Single Cut diamonds lining the shoulders and totaling approximately 0.06ct in weight. La Quinta is a classic engagement ring that truly stands the test of time and would look absolutely perfect on any girl's finger.

HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces. Delicate settings with lots of diamonds were especially popular during this time, though we also see a number of different colored stones, including sapphires, aquamarines, and rare electric green demantoid garnets.
