Merrit Island is a wonderful and authentic Art Deco (circa 1930) platinum, sapphire and diamond Navette style ring. The ring features a lovely Old European Cut diamond prong-set in an octagonal shaped frame weighing approximately 0.69ct, and graded G-H color and VS clarity. The center stone is flanked on either side by a pair of small synthetic calibre-cut sapphires totaling 0.06ct in weight and is additionally accented with eighteen Single Cut diamonds totaling 0.54ct in weight. The ring is finished with a touch of beautiful open filigree work and milgrained edges throughout. Merrit Island is a stunning example of the beautiful Navette style platinum rings crafted during the Deco period!
