Silver Quill is an elegant and thoughtfully designed vintage Edwardian era (circa 1915) platinum three-stone engagement ring. The ring centers three Old Mine Cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.70ct in weight, surrounded by eight artistically placed Rose Cut and Old Mine Cut diamonds totaling 0.12ct all graded G-I color and SI clarity. Silver Quill's motif really shines with the handmade scrolling flilgree throughout the basket, along the shoulders and delicate milgrained edges along the platinum edges. Silver Quill is currently a size 7.75 a can be sized to fit.

HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces. Delicate settings with lots of diamonds were especially popular during this time, though we also see a number of different colored stones, including sapphires, aquamarines, and rare electric green demantoid garnets.
