When this has happened, have you experienced the wonder of somehow making the best meal ever that you’ll likely never be able to recreate? That’s how I feel when I look at Taliesin. All of the random components of this ring somehow come together to make a whimsical, balanced, and beautiful piece that fills me with bubbles of joy! This Retro era (circa 1940) two-tone 14k yellow and white gold toi et moi ring features a unique combination of Pear Brilliant Cut gemstones: a fabulously fluorescent 1.25ct pink tourmaline and a 0.35ct natural Colombian emerald. Five Old European Cut diamonds add a little extra sparkle, extending the beading detail along one shoulder for a very bauble-y look, and highlighting the sweet engraving detail along the other shoulder. I seriously cannot get over how lovely this ring is, it’s giving “indecisive but perfect” as if the creator didn’t want to hold back on adding every special design element they wanted into one singular ring.
