Whidbey Island is a dazzling Mid-Century (circa 1950) platinum sapphire and diamond halo ring. The four prong-set dark blue center stone is accompanied by a Guild Laboratories certificate stating the 2.04ct Oval Mixed Cut sapphire is heated from Ceylon (Sri Lanka). In keeping with Mid-Century style, the moody blue sapphire is flanked on either side by a pair of Tapered Baguette Cut diamonds, and further accented with an oval-shaped halo of ten Round Brilliant Cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.85ct in weight. Whidbey Island is finished with a slim polished platinum band for comfortable daily wear. We are completely enamored with this funky take on the classic halo style!
