Yorkshire Coast is a beautiful and authentic Edwardian era (Circa 1910) platinum engagement ring featuring a stunning Transitional Brilliant Cut diamond accompanied by an EGL Certificate stating the 1.19cts diamond is graded G color and VS1 clarity. This pretty piece of history is further adorned by ten Single Cut diamonds delicately scattered along the shoulders and gallery of the ring totaling approximately 0.10ct in additional weight. Yorkshire Coast is finished with a touch of milgrain detailing along the platinum edges, elegant hand-engraving along the shoulders and a perfect amount of open metal work throughout!

HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces. Delicate settings with lots of diamonds were especially popular during this time, though we also see a number of different colored stones, including sapphires, aquamarines, and rare electric green demantoid garnets.
