Monte Carlo is particularly special authentic Edwardian era (circa 1910) platinum topped 18k rose gold clover ring that was originally an antique brooch. The ring centers three unique Old Mine Cut diamonds totaling approximately 1.40cts each a different fancy color diamond, including a fancy brown, a fancy yellow and a rare fancy light pink (clarity ranging from VS-SI2). Monte Carlo is finished with a single Rose Cut diamond gauged at 0.05ct placed on the stem of the clover. The ring is finished with a 14k white gold shank--a perfect gift for any card shark! Monte Carlo is currently a size 7.5 and can be sized to fit.

HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces. Delicate settings with lots of diamonds were especially popular during this time, though we also see a number of different colored stones, including sapphires, aquamarines, and rare electric green demantoid garnets.
