Sunnyside

sold out!

Sunnyside is a whimiscal and feminine authentic Late Art Deco (circa 1935) 14k yellow gold engagement ring. This sweet design centers a twelve-prong set Cabochon Oval opal gauged at 8mm x 6.3mm and weighing approximately 0.75ct., displaying mostly green and blue play-of-color. A halo of twelve Seed pearls further surround the opal, each nestled within its own pretty scalloped frame. Each pearl is original to the ring, and they vary in color from light cream to a subtle grey. Sunnyside is finished with milgrained edges along the outside edge. The ring is currently a size 6 and can be sized to fit.

HISTORY
The most characteristic feature of Art Deco jewelry is the emphasis on bold, geometric designs. The “Roaring 20’s” ushered in a new desire to live life to the fullest, which was very much reflected in the era’s jewelry designs.
