Numenor

sold out!

Numenor is a spectacular and authentic antique early Art Deco (circa 1910) platinum, diamond and sapphire ring. The ring centers a bezel set diamond accompanied by a GIA Diamond Report stating the 1.88ct Old European Cut diamond is graded J color and VS1 clarity. This bombe style ring is further embellished with soft lines comprised of thirty-four Old European and Single Cut diamonds totaling approximately 1.15cts in combined weight. Numenor is additionally detailed with tapering rows of ten superbly matched natural Calibre Cut sapphires. The contrasting blue and white stones make this beautifully crafted ring a rare & singularly stunning ring! Numenor is finished with light milgraining along each edge and lovely engraving on the slightly tapering platinum shank. We love this gorgeous ring not just for the lovely details, but because it’s wonderful example of a transitional piece that exhibits traits of two distinct jewelry eras: Edwardian AND Art Deco!

Numenor is currently a 6 and can be sized to fit most ring sizes. Please contact our concierge with sizing questions.

HISTORY
The most characteristic feature of Art Deco jewelry is the emphasis on bold, geometric designs. The “Roaring 20’s” ushered in a new desire to live life to the fullest, which was very much reflected in the era’s jewelry designs.
