sold out!
Brigham is a delightful and show-stopping platinum and 14k white gold ring from the Mid Century period. The ring centers an Old European Cut diamond gauged at approximately 0.50ct in weight, graded I-J color and VS clarity. The center diamond is surrounded by an additional sixteen Old European Cut and Transitional Cut diamonds totaling approximately 1.50ct. The 14k white gold shank most likely replaced the original platinum shank. This cocktail ring’s presence on the finger will add sparkle and class to any occasion! HISTORY
As economic growth expanded the upper middle class in the 1950s, jewelry reflected this new prosperity with flashy, dramatic designs and a focus on diamond stones. The basic designs were quite similar to the Retro period, but were executed differently, often featuring textured accents and engraved finishes.
