Dove Lane

sold out!

Dove Lane is a delightful diamond engagement ring that was once part of a platinum and diamond Art Deco brooch dating back to 1925. Trumpet & Horn converted the brooch to six different rings, each in different sizes and colored metals. Dove Lane is the name we use for three of the beautiful rings we created from the repurposed brooch! See below for the different diamond options for the Dove Lane ring. Please select your preference before checkout. The stone is nestled within a vintage platinum bezel enhanced by authentic Art Deco milgrained edges. Trumpet & Horn completed its transformation into a ring by adding an 18k gold or platinum shank, delicately finished with a pair of Single Cut diamonds flanking either side of the center stone (approx. 0.05ct total weight). The ring is currently a size 6.5 and can be sized to fit. Please keep in mind the center diamond was not taken out of the setting, so the diamond carat, color and clarity has been estimated.

Dove Lane I: Platinum shank, 0.30ct Old European Cut diamond, G/H color, VS clarity

HISTORY
The most characteristic feature of Art Deco jewelry is the emphasis on bold, geometric designs. The “Roaring 20’s” ushered in a new desire to live life to the fullest, which was very much reflected in the era’s jewelry designs.
