Greenford is an unusual and unique one-of-a-kind cocktail ring from the 1960's. The 18k yellow and white gold ring centers beautiful white Australian opal gauged at approximately 10mm x 8mm, displaying fabulous rainbow play-of-color. A halo of twelve Round Brilliant Cut diamonds gracefully surround the center opal, with a total approximate weight of 0.50ct each graded G-H color and VS clarity. Greenford is further accented by an additional halo of eight Oval Cut vibrant green peridot each gauged at approximately 7mm x 5mm (carat weight cannot be determined because of the closed backing). A total of eight Round Brilliant Cut diamonds are set in between each peridot and total approximately 0.32ct in additional weight. Greenford was purchased from the estate of a prominent American horse racing family. The ring is currently a size 7.5 and can be sized to fit most ring sizes.
