Haletown is an authentic Edwardian era (engraved 1913) diamond engagement ring made from platinum featuring a 0.35ct EGL certified Old European Cut diamond graded H color and SI1 clarity. This sparkling solitaire diamond rests in an octagonal setting raised high above the finger, enhanced with sharply sloping shoulders and decorated with handmade flowery filigree on the shank and throughout the basket. The ring is finished with a touch of chevron-shaped hand engraving along each shoulder. Haletown is currently a size 5 and can be sized to fit.

HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces. Delicate settings with lots of diamonds were especially popular during this time, though we also see a number of different colored stones, including sapphires, aquamarines, and rare electric green demantoid garnets.
