Pacific Grove is an ornate Edwardian era (circa 1915) platinum and 14k white gold ring centering a stunning bezel set 0.53ct EGL certified Old European Cut diamond graded K color and VS1 clarity. This beautifully crafted navette style ring is further set with six Old Mine Cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.75ct flanked by two Square Step-Cut sapphries off-set within bezel frames that total approximately 0.30ct. Pacific Groove is finished with stunning scrolling hand pierce filigree and milgrained edges. The ring is currently a size 6.75 and can be sized to fit most ring sizes. HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces. Delicate settings with lots of diamonds were especially popular during this time, though we also see a number of different colored stones, including sapphires, aquamarines, and rare electric green demantoid garnets.
