I spend a good portion of my day, every day, e-mailing with wedding photographers around the U.S. who are looking to borrow rings for styled shoots. Although it’s a lot of logistics, I absolutely LOVE IT! Not only have we established incredible working relationships with some ridiculously talented people over the last few years, I’ve also been lucky enough to make some personal friends as well.
My very first visit to Atlanta wasn’t until 2016(!) when I flew in for the original Vero Workshop hosted by Kelly Berry in November. I have to say, I completely adored it and can’t wait to go back! If you like Southern comfort food, beautiful trees, hip antique shops, and nice weather, Atlanta is the city for you. It occurred to me this week that it was high time for a blog post compiling a few of my favorite Georgia & Atlanta wedding photographers for all you Southern brides who are getting married soon! These photographers are not only super talented individuals who we collaborate with often, they couldn’t be easier to work with and I recommend them wholeheartedly.
Keep scrolling to enjoy all the swoon-worthy Georgia wedding photography you’re about to see (in no particular order might I add!). If you think any of the photographers below might be a good fit for your own wedding, tell ‘em T&H sent you! :)
Sawyer Baird // Atlanta & East Coast
Sawyer was one of the very first wedding photographers (if not THE first? I honestly can't remember) to borrow our rings for a styled shoot, all the way back in 2014. Sawyer brazenly reached out to me on Instagram and decided our brands were perfect for each other — and well, she was absolutely right. One of the youngest and most talented photographers I work with (not just from our Georgia wedding photographers list, I mean ALL of them), Sawyer is also someone I'm happy to call a friend. She specializes in INCREDIBLE fine art film photography, and her ring shots are consistently top-notch. Do we recommend her? Obviously. If you can fit into her jam-packed calendar, that is.
Kelly Anne Photography // Ball Ground, GA & the Southeast
Kelly happens to share my name, and that was the first, but definitely not the last thing that I love about her. One of the most genuinely kind people I've ever met, Kelly invited me to speak at the Vero Workshop for aspiring Georgia wedding photographers last November in Atlanta, which was easily one of the highlights of my year. Watching her teach and witnessing how much she cares about others made me love her so much as a person, as well as a photographer. This woman has a heart of gold and a serious talent for capturing the perfect moment.
Simply Sarah // Atlanta & All U.S.
If you're looking for a fine art film photographer with a knack for capturing the "in-between" moments, Sarah might be your perfect match. She travels for destination weddings worldwide, so if you're outside the Southeast, don't be shy! Every single wedding and styled shoot looks like it could be turned into a full-length coffee table book. If you love the "art" aspect of photography, Sarah is a wonderful choice.
The Happy Bloom // Savannah, GA & the Southeast
Justin & Amanda are the sweetest, nicest and easiest to work with Georgia wedding photography team around. Together they are "The Happy Bloom", which describes their work pretty accurately, capturing the happy, colorful moments of your wedding day flawlessly. Their work has a vibrant, joyful energy to it that is hard to duplicate.
Hannah Forsberg // Atlanta, Georgia
Hannah actually takes the top award for youngest photographer I've ever worked with, but if I hadn't told you that, you would have never known! She has the talent of a seasoned professional and is the absolute sweetest, sparkliest Georgia peach. Her work is simultaneously serious and playful, light yet moody. Some people just HAVE it, and Hannah is no exception.
Four Corners Photography // Atlanta, Georgia
Maybe Natalie did this intentionally when she chose her company name, but looking through her photos makes me want to TRAVEL. I feel like jumping right into the photographs to experience each and every moment! Natalie, in my humble opinion, is one of the most unique Georgia wedding photographers out there. She specializes in "documentary style" fine art photography, and I personally feel like she has a special talent for capturing bold, beautiful colors. Also, she's just an overall really friendly person — you can't go wrong with that!
Rustic White Photography // Atlanta, Georgia
If the photos below look like they belong on a magazine cover, well, you're actually not wrong. Tiffany & Robert of Rustic White Photography are seasoned pros and have repeatedly landed their work online & in print (and yes, on magazine covers as well). If your style is classic, Southern elegance, look no further than Rustic White!
