Happy last Friday of summer, y'all! The end of summer means one thing in particular for us at Trumpet & Horn: the beginning of Engagement Season! With the holidays right around the corner, potential fiancés-to-be begin their search for the perfect engagement ring. With so many styles to choose from, it can be difficult to narrow it down to the right one to fit your special lady's personality. For this reason, we have devised an engagement ring style quiz to help give you some direction. The quiz will result in one of four style categories:

Vintage Edwardian Navette Ring with Onyx | Upminster Upminster is a fantastic one-of-a-kind Edwardian (circa 1915) platinum navette style ring set with a total of thirteen Old European Cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.90ct. This unique ring is further enhanced with a carved round onyx tablet gauged at 7.75mm across set in the center of the ring. Upminster is finished with remarkable scalloped corners, incredible lacy filigree and hand engraved milgrained edges. Vintage Inspired Bombe Style Engagement Ring | Bel Air Bel Air is an extraordinary Trumpet & Horn Original ring that we are proud to offer in our vintage-inspired collection. The handmade 18k yellow gold bombe style ring centers a 0.49ct EGL certified Old Mine Cut diamond graded I color and VS2 clarity. This show-stopper is further accented with seventy-eight Transitional Brilliant Cut diamonds totaling 1.02ct, each delicately placed in an elaborate, scrolling motif. Bel Air is finished with decadent milgrained edges and hand crafted engraving along each shoulder. The ring is currently a size 6.25 and can be sized to fit most ring sizes. Vintage Victorian Old Mine Cut Diamonds Ring | Broken Arrow Broken Arrow is an incredible Victorian era (circa 1880) silver topped 14k yellow gold ring. Our gemology team believes it was originally a brooch that was converted into this stunning ring during the 1940's. This impeccable bombe style cluster ring centers one bezel set 0.84ct EGL certified Old Mine Brilliant Cut diamond graded G color and SI3 clarity. An additional eight Old Mine Cut diamonds surround the center diamond totaling approximately 2.00cts graded I-M color and SI-I1 clarity. Broken Arrow is finished with pretty open metal work, oxidation to the silver and a simple 14k yellow gold shank. The ring is currently as size 7.75 and can be sized to fit. Vintage Diamond and Sapphire Band | Bridlingotn Bridlington is an amazing one-of-a-kind Victorian era (circa 1900) 18k yellow gold sapphire and diamond band. The ring features five prong set Cushion Cut natural sapphires totaling approximately 2.30ct accompanied by a Guild Laboratories certificate stating that the sapphires are all unheated with Ceylon origin. Bridlington is further set with five Old Mine Cut and Old Mine Cushion Cut diamonds that alternate seamlessly with each sapphire. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.00ct and each is graded J-K color and VS2-SI1 clarity. The ring is currently a size 5 and can be sized one size up and one size down. Vintage Art Deco Engagement Ring with Emeralds | Fairmount Park Fairmont Park is an unbelievable Art Deco (circa 1930) platinum ring centering a beautiful 1.75ct GIA certified Emerald Cut diamond graded I color and VS2 clarity. The center diamond is framed by four alternating rows of diamonds and emeralds, including 72 Old European Cut diamonds equaling approximately 1.00ct and 44 Calibre Cut natural bright, green emeralds equaling approximately 0.90ct.
