Welcome to the Trumpet Tribe Bailey & Matthew! These two lovebirds got hitched with the Canterbury ring & have the absolute sweetest story. Hear from Baliey how they celebrated their nuptials with their (now) two daughters!
Matthew and I met in the Summer of 2013, and we've been taken with each other ever since. I had even texted my best friend after meeting him and said, "I just met my future husband." I guess love at first sight really is a thing! Him and I got pregnant in late December of 2016. Ironically my ring from Trumpet and Horn showed up in the mail the day after we found out we were pregnant. It was beautiful. We chose Canterbury - it was simple, beautiful and had a history to it. The Opal marked Matthew's birthstone, and the diamond's stood for my birthstone. So perfect. We wanted to elope somewhere. Easy and magical was all we really wanted. After searching and searching for locations and packages, none of it was working and it was still costing us more than we would like. Then Matthew suggested our park. The park where we had some of our first dates. The park where we really got to know each other and fall more and more in love. Of course, our park. So we picked a day, a time, a friend who was ordained and a Photographer who could also act as our witness. The one thing I really did want was some nice photos that we could always look back on. Matthew's daughter, Tia, had asked us if we were to ever get married if she could be there. Of course we said yes, so she was our one guest on the special day. I love that both of our daughters got to be there. I was 7 months pregnant with our little girl. (Even though she was in my belly and won't remember it!) ;) It was a beautiful Minnesota Summer evening. Perfect to us. One we will always remember!
