Cunningham is an incredible and authentic Victorian era (circa 1870) 18k yellow gold ring that started its life as an antique stick pin in the shape of an anchor. The nautical themed ring centers a bezel set antique Pear Cut diamond totaling approximately 0.55ct in weight, graded K-L color and SI clarity. Cunningham is further adorned with eight Old Mine Cut and Rose Cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.40ct in weight. The ring is finished with a twisted gold rope that winds around the anchor and is finished with oxidation to the metal — a detail that can only come with age. Cunningham is currently a size 6.25 and can be sized to fit.

HISTORY
Much of the popular Victorian jewelry was inspired by Queen Victoria’s style. For example, birthstones were popular in engagement rings because Victoria wore hers with an emerald. The Victorian era is further divided into Early (1837–1860), Mid (1860–1885), and Late (1890–1901) periods, reflecting changes in Victoria’s life and personal style. Early and late Victorian period jewelry is often described as having a romantic look, but mid-Victorian style is darker and more sentimental, reflecting Victoria’s personal period of mourning after the loss of her husband and mother.
