The lovely and unique antique center diamond is nestled high in a crown shaped setting and intricately designed with scrolling metalwork and beading along the shoulders. The ring is currently a size 6.5 and can be sized to fit most ring sizes. If this ring needs to be sized up more than 2.5 sizes it will be subject to a sizing fee and be final sale.
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces. Delicate settings with lots of diamonds were especially popular during this time, though we also see a number of different colored stones, including sapphires, aquamarines, and rare electric green demantoid garnets.
