Holloway is an elegant Victorian era (circa 1895) platinum and 18k yellow gold traditional cluster ring. This antique halo ring centers a 1.68ct EGL certified Old European Cut diamond graded M color and SI3 clarity. The brilliant center diamond is delicately set within eleven gold prongs, and raised slightly above the shimmering halo below. The white halo of Old Mine Cut diamonds perfectly compliments the warm toned center diamond, totaling approximately 1.20ct and graded H-I color and SI clarity. Holloway is finished with carefully crafted platinum scalloped edges that hug each outside diamond and are further enhanced with milgrained edges. The ring is currently a size 6.25 and can be sized to fit.

HISTORY
Much of the popular Victorian jewelry was inspired by Queen Victoria’s style. For example, birthstones were popular in engagement rings because Victoria wore hers with an emerald. Early and late Victorian period jewelry is often described as having a romantic look, but mid-Victorian style is darker and more sentimental, reflecting Victoria’s personal period of mourning after the loss of her husband and mother.
