Montalvo is a superb and authentic antique Edwardian era (circa 1910) 18k white gold diamond solitaire engagement ring. This bombe shaped beauty centers an Old European Cut diamond nestled inside a hexagonal shaped framed and weighing approximately 0.48ct and graded H color and VS2 clarity. Montalvo is further enhanced with whimsical floral open metal work along the shoulders and the gallery of the pretty ring.

HISTORY
During the Edwardian period, technological advances caused major changes in the way that jewelry was manufactured. Jewelers were finally able to work with platinum, which allowed for more intricate and detailed pieces.
