Newport Beach
Newport Beach is a stunning Late Art Deco (circa 1935) 14k white gold ring that most likely started life out as an earring or part of a necklace. A 14k white gold shank was later added. The incredibly saturated Oval Cut sapphire gauged at approximately 1.25cts accompanied with a Guild Laboratories certificate stating the stone is Unheated with Ceylon origin. The oceanic blue stone is framed by an oval shaped halo of fourteen prong set Single Cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.35ct. Newport Beach sits low to the finger and the classic combination of sapphire and diamond make this a timeless favorite here at Trumpet & Horn! The ring is currently a size 6.5 and can be sized to fit.

HISTORY
Antique Art Deco jewelry reflects the style and spirit associated with the roaring twenties, featuring bold geometric designs. Diamonds were typically a focal point, but calibre cut sapphires, rubies, and emeralds were among the stones used to add splashes of color.
